LE SAVEZ-VOUS ?

la "viande" vendue sur les étals des supermarchés est transportée ...souvent vivante par camions sur des milliers et des millliers de kms et aussi par bateaux :

Le transport d'animaux (nés en Australie) par bateau: des milliers meurent (chaleur, faim, soif, maladie, blessures ...) pendant ces voyages qui durent plusieurs semaines (voir récapitulatif dessous) et qui tournent à l'enfer en cas de panne.

Attente interminable en plein soleil sur les quais surchauffés :

Dans ces bateaux les chutes sur le sol sale et glissant ne sont pas rares. Les animaux blessés ne sont pas soignés. 

 

Animaux des étages inférieurs: ils reçoivent tous les excréments de ceux qui sont au dessus. La chaleur et l'odeur sont insoutenables. Des animaux meurent par suffocation.

 

Dans ces bateaux la nourriture et l'eau sont souillées. De plus certains animaux meurent de faim car ils ne reconnaissent pas cette nourriture sous forme de paillettes (c'est le cas des moutons) ou parce que, blessés, ils ne parviennent pas jusqu'aux mangeoires.

En cas de panne du bateau ou de refus du port d'arrivée, le voyage dure encore plus longtemps et la nourriture embarquée est alors insuffisante.
